Personally, I've been ignoring it for years.
It's not really a traffic source for my blog, so why should I invest time into it?
I just didn't get it.
Recently though, I've been dating, and nearly every girl I go out with wants to connect with me on guess what platform?
Instagram!
And guess who looks like a loser when they don't even have an account?
Moi.
So, I begrudgingly set up an account, began posting up photos, and the most interesting thing happened...
Friends, family, and other influencers I haven't connected with in ages started messaging me saying how good it was to hear from me.
By getting to see photos of my life, they felt closer to me. It also reminded them I exist and made them wonder how I'm doing.
That's when I realized how powerful it is for DEEPENING the relationship with your tribe.

I still have no idea what I'm doing. Over the next few weeks though, I'm going to consult with some of the top Instagram experts and build it into a big personal brand.
Maybe I'll release some stories to tell you what I'm learning. Sound cool?

PS: Just to be clear, I'm NOT saying you have to be on Instagram. If you're still building your tribe, focus on that first. You can play around with stuff like this later.
