It always makes me laugh, just how many bloggers are obsessed with traffic, but don't actually bother to measure it. :-) But the fact is, if you don't have Google Analytics installed on your blog, you're stumbling around in the dark like a dummy. You don't know how much traffic you're getting, where it's coming from or which content is attracting the most. So if you're still "flying blind" I want to you install Google Analytics on your blog right now. And the good news is, it'll only take you five minutes.

Want to write for Forbes? Or Business Insider?

I know, it's kind of a weird thing to ask out of the blue, but here's why I ask... If you'd like to create a course or get a book deal or even grow your own audience, one of the biggest factors is your credibility. No surprise, right? But what you might not know is HOW to get that credibility. Sure, having traditional credentials like a doctorate certainly help, but that's a huge commitment. Takes years, not to mention the big student loan bill. But here's the thing... College degrees are only ONE way of getting credibility. There are other ways, and my absolute favorite is writing for big publications.
