Advice for writers who want to make money quickly

It hurts me to say this, but... If you need to generate income from your writing within the next 6 months, creating and growing a blog of your own is probably NOT your best option. The reason: It takes time to grow a popular blog. And sometimes you can't wait that long. I certainly couldn't, when I got started. So that's why I initially supplemented my income by writing articles for OTHER sites. In fact, it was five years before I was comfortable writing exclusively for myself. And I actually made really good money. Over $100,000 per year toward the end, writing articles. As always though, the question is... how? That's why I put together an email series on the topic.
