Much as I hate to admit it, not all of the best content on the web comes from me and the Smart Blogger team. ;-)
This week I have not just one, but three examples of great content from other people to share with you.
1) How to Choose a Domain Name
If you haven't found Rand Fishkin over at the Moz blog yet, go check out his Whiteboard Friday videos. Rand's a natural on camera and always makes his topics engaging. Some of his videos are for hardcore SEO geeks only, but most are suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to play nicely with Google. This one is about a problem that all bloggers have to face - choosing a domain name.
2) The Ultimate Guide to Remarkable Content
This is a truly epic guide about creating content from Ramit Sethi of I Will Teach You to Be Rich. The design looks awesome, it's packed full of practical examples and he's even recruited topic experts to contribute to specific sections, which rounds out the information and gives it extra credibility too. Even if you don't have the budget to create something exactly like this, there are a lots of little ideas you can steal.
3) How I Learned to Be Me (Finally, at 47 Years Old)
Finally, I loved this simple but personal post from Henneke over at Enchanting Marketing. I often warn students not to talk about themselves too much since readers are usually more interested in their own situations than someone else's. But this personal and authentic post clearly had a great bonding effect with the audience (just check out the comments.) It's definitely something to try now and again, once you've built the beginnings of a loyal audience.
