Want to know my favorite part about being a blogger?
When someone contacts me to say they've been moved to tears by a post I wrote years ago.
Being reminded that those posts still have power for new readers is an amazing feeling.
But did you know that you can actually engineer your posts to be memorable? If not, check this out:

So, here’s a disturbing question:
If I linked to your blog, would it crash?
You would get thousands of visitors in a matter of hours. Lots of website hosts can’t handle that kind of traffic, so they either crash or suspend your account. Either way, it makes you look terrible in front of thousands of people.
I'm not saying it’s your fault. Hell, you might even hold me responsible because I’ve never really written anything about it. Shame on me!
Well, here’s the deal…
The sites I’ve managed have received over 200 million page views without crashing, and I think it’s fair to say I’ve learned a thing or two about website hosting.
So, I’m starting a little sublist for people who want to learn about this stuff. You can get on it by clicking this link:
Tell me how to make my site survive a traffic spike!
Now, fair warning…
Some of this stuff is VERY technical. I’ll do my best to make it beginner-friendly, but some of it still might make your head spin.
I’ll also give you some recommendations for the hosting companies I personally use. I'm not going to spam you with offers or anything, but if you’re allergic to spending a few dollars on your blog, do NOT click the link above.
Also, I wouldn’t recommend getting on this sublist if you haven’t started your blog yet. You have bigger fish to fry.
Everyone else?
I’ll teach you some things you can’t learn anywhere else. I’ll connect you with some good WordPress hosts. Hell, I might even try to arrange a discount or two for you guys.

I’ll talk with you soon,
Jon
